To resolve the error "AssetRestore_MissingAssetCategory" while restoring the backup for your onSITE Asset program, you need to make sure that all asset categories referenced in the backup file exist in your current system. If any category is missing, you should create it before attempting to restore the backup again. By ensuring all required asset categories are available, you should be able to successfully restore the backup you have.
The onSITE Asset application doesn't appear to be available anymore, nor does it benefit from support and development which means that now the only place you have to look for support is the installation directory.
Additionally, if you still have access to the software, access the built-in Help menu and reach the About section where you can find contact details.
In the installation directory you might find PDF, CHM, HLP, or TXT files.
I want to add a project. How can I do this ? What is project file? How can I get the project file?

Since there is no information about the software and its whereabouts, you will have to work with it as it is. For example, if the software has an interface, go to File > Import and follow the guidelines. The procedure should be pretty straightforward meaning that you don't have to do anything else than selecting the file to import and that's it. Additionally, go to Help > Contents and search for Import. All the details should be explained in that section.
